As the COVID-19 health and economic crisis continues, in-person concerts and experiences are a thing of the past. Many of our favorite annual events are re-envisioning how the public can enjoy music and entertainment in a safe and responsible way.

This year, the 16th Annual DC JazzFest will be virtual and FREE to watch online! Each evening from Thursday, September 24th to Monday, September 28th, viewers can enjoy an amazing line-up of talented musicians, as well as, music education programming via Gather by Events DC or on Fans.com.

An artist we are extremely excited to see at this year’s event is Baby Rose. Over the last year, we’ve fallen in love with her deep, soulful, and melodic voice. The 26-year-old songtress was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Fayetteville, NC.

In the last two-years, her career has taken off, going on the Shea Butter Baby tour with another DC native Ari Lennox. She also had her song “Show You” featured on the fourth season of Issa Rae’s hit HBO show, Insecure.

Check out her music on Spotify or Youtube and let us know your thoughts!
